Established in 1997 the Bail Enforcement Academy® has over the years been victimized by “trademark pirates”. Using someones registered trademark as is or an altered version is in violation of U.S. Trademark Law . Almost always violated by those with no reputation at best and a terrible one at worst.
The purpose? Hopefully being confused as the genuine original and/or hoping to appear in the search engines alongside the real Bail Enforcement Academy®. By using the registered trademark in their name or to describe their "program", these parasitic websites hope to “cash in” on the Academy’s longstanding reputation for their high quality training and leadership in the bail enforcement industry.
Additionally by running searches on the search function at fugitiverecoverycom as well as Google on these organizations, their founders, and instructors, we have discovered many of these trademark offenders to have reputations and/or criminal records that are of a nature we do not want improperly affiliated with the genuine Bail Enforcement Academy®
No longer simply protected by “common law trademark” (™) , in response and by action of their Attorney’s “The Bail Enforcement Academy® is a now an Official U.S. Registered Trademark
Trademark infringement is a violation of the "Terms of Service" of the major search engines and most web hosting companies and grounds for a search engine"domain ban" or site suspension from web hosts. Potential offenders are advised to obtain legal advice prior to doing so, it could cost a bundle. Its use is now protected under the Lanham Act and other U.S. Trademark Laws including fines up to $100,000 dollars plus legal fees for each violation. The organization is “geared up” to enforce their rights.
The Bail Enforcement Academy® requests anyone aware of violation(s) of their Registered Trademark notify them at http://www.bailacademy.org/ .
